If you've been seeing some recent styles this season, you may have noticed the army green jacket, otherwise dubbed a military jacket, or green army jacket. From runways to simple street style, I have been seeing them a lot lately. I started paying more attention recently because I came across a hooded option and really liked the length.
I finally purchased an army green jacket on Shopbop and quickly found that there were a lot options to play with when styling it. One of the most recent combos I'm loving is taking anything animal print (shoes, bags, you name it), mixing in stripes (tops, pants), and layer in the jacket over the top, which creates a cohesive army green jacket outfit. Pairing a striped top with animal print adds an instant color/texture pop to an otherwise muted color palate. Maybe that was one reason why it took me so long to buy one. The muted color of the jacket isn't something I always turn to.
