I don't know about you but I really become smitten over holiday outfits.  Most recently, I picked up a beautiful green embellished ruffle skirt that I know I'll be wearing a lot this holiday.  It is on sale right now on Shopbop so I thought I'd share with you how I'll be styling it over the holiday season.  Admittedly, I'm a sucker for embellishment and texture and this fabulous skirt has the best of both worlds.

The Perfect Green Embellished Ruffle Skirt for the Holidays

If the holidays are good for one thing (I mean besides the chance to score more vacation days in one month alone, hanging with friends, and all those holiday gatherings) it's the chance to bust out the most beautiful pieces you own in your closet.  Mix those amazing pieces with cozy sweaters and knits, along with great shoes, ankle booties, or knee-high boots, and you can call me late for dinner!

If there's one thing that I've learned over the years, it's that taking chances with fashion and style often result in a happy outcome.  When shopping for a skirt most recently, I settled on this green embellished ruffle skirt because it looked like it had some personality.  When it arrived on my door and I opened the box, it did not disappoint.  The fabric is fabulously rich and the asymmetrical ruffle hemline has to be one of my favorites.
