My favorite color pairings when you're working with the shade/hue of nude are:
- Blue + Nude
- Black/white + nude
- Greens + Nude
Really, neutrals are so so great for pairing with almost everything! But when you're starting out, the best rule of thumb is to partner colors with no more than 3. For a simple outfit using nude open toe mules that work seamlessly, partner with lighter colors. Let's take blue, white, and nude/camel for example. These three colors work together to create a classically, minimal, yet chic outfit!
Building an Outfit Based on the Shoe
I've said it before, shoes are the underrated workhorse of an outfit! These nude open toe mules are definitely a pair of shoes that can partner with a maxi dress in the summer, a pair of jeans in the spring, and possibly a great casual wedding outfit! So let's start with a basic outfit to wear every day.
- Pull out your favorite top (a button down will work great).
- Then pair your favorite skinny denim (ankle length) or dark wash boyfriend jeans.
- Finally, throw on those nude open toe mules and partner with a simple neutral accessory and you're out the door in a flash!
