Three Ways to Wear Denim Cut Off Shorts for Summer
Denim cut off shorts have been my go-to for summer wear two years running. I splurged and purchased a pair of Agolde Dee Ultra High rise shorts and have never looked back. Here are three ways I am wearing them this summer for comfortable, casual looks.
Outfit 1
The first outfit is one of my go to outfit formulas this summer. I love a great detailed top, this is the Caro shirt from Sezane (fits true to size or size up for slightly more room), tucked in and paired with simple sandals (these are the raffia crossover sandal from Jenni Kayne, go up a size if you’re in between sizes). I sized up on these Agolde Dee Ultra High rise shorts as they are slimmer around the waist (my waist and hips are pretty close in measurement, so to avoid a “too tight in the waist” situation, I went up a size). I’m loving hands free bags this summer, so my go-to is this Grande Fanny crossbody belt bag from Clare V.

Outfit 2
Another ongoing favorite wardrobe staple of mine is pairing anything with my Freda Salvador Eda D’Orsay Sneakers. These sneakers have more than earned their cost per wear in my closet. I wear these at least a few times a week with everything from dresses and skirts to jeans and shorts. They are one of my top five wardrobe staples. (Size down at least have a size as they run roomy in the length and toe.) One brand that I’ve also gotten to know more about is Mille. It’s a beautiful brand that creates small runs of clothing in collaborations with small, family owned workshops in India. This is the Thalia top in blue floral and I love wearing it tucked in with shorts or jeans.
